About the Platform
Our mission
The Open Youth Work – Resource Centre is a collaborative platform dedicated to supporting youth workers, educators, social science students, and anyone passionate about engaging young people.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and accessible collection of open educational resources, youth engagement tools, non-formal education methods that reflects the diverse dimensions of Open Youth Work. By gathering valuable knowledge in one place, we aim to foster learning, innovation, and collaboration in youth work across Europe

Methodology
Developed through Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships, the Open Youth Work resources bring together the expertise of 15 youth work organisations from across Europe, using a structured, evidence-based process to create practical tools for the sector.
🌱 Needs Analysis. We begin each project with a needs analysis, combining research and stakeholder consultations to ensure every resource responds to real challenges in youth work.
🌱 Co-creation. Next, we move into co-creation: teams from different countries share their experience and expertise, working together to design practical, adaptable tools.
🌱 Continuous Sharing. Throughout the process, results are shared widely to increase visibility, inspire others, and strengthen advocacy for Open Youth Work.
🌱 Lasting impact. The outcome is more than a collection of resources — it’s a growing community of practice that continues to generate new ideas and collaborations.
